Story Map Main Points

Protagonist - is my main character Damien Ladfill Valentine, which he is the primary and the main figure. He is the primary character that drives on the film, and the primary character that the audience can follow and relate to. In addition to this most of the characters will notice that most of the events happen around him, and the other notable characters.

Character Goals – to get revenge on his best friend Jamie Long as he knows that he has poisoned him after reading his thoughts, and to find out who killed his parents and get his revenge. Also, to be at the top of the university campus in order to get noticed around the campus and to be more positive towards social conversations. And to be back to normal if possible.

Dramatic Conflict - or Antagonist – Jamie Long is the Antagonist; he is the one that will remain and be in his way, in all of Damien’s obstacles. Jamie Long’s father had killed Damien’s parents after Jamie’s father confessing in front of Damien.  
 

Theme – The theme will be about his life, the society he lives around and treating equally to one another with respect, no matter what form he/she is from, culture, background, religion, beliefs and disabilities etc. 

Central Question/Statement or Premise – The central question is that Damien wants to become normal and not to be like this forever, and the main central question/statement is that.

Will I ever become normal ever again?  

Ending - He gets his revenge back off from Jamie Long and tries to kill him besides his father but Damien feels that it is wrong to do this, Mr Simmons also confesses to Damien that it was him who had killed their parents by accident and he explain’s the whole reason why they did it. But, Damien lets them go as he is old and elderly and he spares his live.

Damien then leaves. As he gets out of sight Jamie Long’s father have scammed him as they had this telepathy device that Damien can’t be able to read his mind, and as Damien leaves Jamie’s father takes off his mask and kills Jamie with a gun. Whilst the shot happens Damien runs back and see’s Jamie lying there in the floor, with no one there. Damien glances down and the film ends there. There could also be possibly second sequence that follows this film. 

Story Engines – The story engines that will drive this forward is that his best friend that will create his obstacles and action towards him throughout the movie, which will then progress the film to run forward. These include;

1. Finishes college and passes his exams, gets into university.

2. Gets bullied as he starts to get top marks throughout university campus.

3. Suffering from the press/media. 

4. Science experiment gets poisoned by best friend Jamie.

5. Realises and seeks his unique powers.

6. Finds out is was Jamie who did this.

7. Damien wants to pay back the price to Jamie.  

Act 1(Begin)

He lives in a fairly huge house in which his brother takes care for his parent’s science company. He barely gets noticed with his family company and is barely noticed around school, simply because of him not bonding with his classmates. But, in consideration he does gets noticed with his geek science knowledge and his dumb personality around normal conversations. But, overall his best friend starts to get jealous because of his science knowledge is vastly increasing severely and starts to create attention throughout the university campus and the press/media. 

He has just finished high school and has got a place for a top university in which he got accepted to study science and become a forensic scientist and study the meaning of science etc.

As he starts his first day he gets excited from inside, but he does not show it amongst other fellow classmates. He also sees his best friend Jamie Long who also as well gets a place in the same university, with the hope of a luck he is also in his class. As the weeks go by Damien gets more clever and clever and he studies extremely hard to get somewhere in life, as he completes exams he starts gradually receiving the top marks in his fellow class, and starts to realise how much talent he possesses within him, then after a bit of hard revision he gets the top mark throughout the whole campus with him receiving 100% in which this leads him to get on the front newspaper headline, yet despite this he does get noticed and more and more students start to humiliate and bully him even more.

Act 2 (Middle)

On the other hand, Jamie views this action outside the 2nd classroom from the campus he starts to get jealous and aggressive towards him, and he viciously wants to destroy him by poisoning him.

A few weeks later Jamie and Damien are in the same classroom whilst conducting an experiment, Jamie notices that Damien is drinking off from a bottle of water when just then Damien walks off to the toilet, by then Jamie sees his chance to do something to Damien. In which he tends to put a small drop of the chemical liquid into his bottle whilst he goes off to the toilet, in which tends to do and avoiding other fellow classmates. When Damien comes back he slurps a drop of water into his mouth and Jamie sneakily glances at him to see what reaction he would get, just then the campus bell rings and it was time to go home. He goes home. After realising that he has the ability to read peoples thoughts and minds, he wanted to try and find out who had did this to him, and he find outs that it is his best friend Jamie Long. After, knowing this Damien knows that he wants to get revenge and get him back and tell him about this action in which he had intended to do to him. Meanwhile, after that he realises that he can stop crime and help the police and the F.B.I after thinking of this he creates a costume and calls himself Mindgamer. As, he starts helping the police and the F.B.I. He starts to get noticed with his costume and his presence alongside with his unique powers. This, then starts to get in the press/media and people start asking him who is this guy and why and what is he doing here. After, hearing this Jamie sees this in the news and he knows that it is him because, he knows by his posture and the face structure. 

Act 3 (End)

He gets his revenge back off from Jamie Long and kills him besides his parents, they also confess to Damien that his was them who had killed their parents by accident and they explain the whole reason why they did it. But, Damien lets them go as they are old and elderly and he spares their lives. Damien then leaves. As he gets out of sight Jamie Long’s parents have scammed him as they had this device that Damien can’t be able to read his mind, and as Damien leaves Jamie’s parents take off their mask and kill Jamie with a gun.
